DOES IT WORK?

Absolutely! Body Tempering is incredibly effective at improving mobility and releasing tension. It’s quickly become my favorite method for helping my body recover and feel better—and my clients agree. Those who’ve tried it often say that foam rolling doesn’t even come close to the relief and results they get from Body Tempering.

Whether you’re looking to reduce pain, move more freely, or recover faster, this technique delivers noticeable results you can feel after just one session.

DOES IT HURT?

Not at all! Body Tempering is designed to feel like deep, moderate pressure—not pain. The tools range from 4 pounds to over 110 pounds and are carefully selected based on your comfort level, the area being tempered, and the amount of muscle tissue involved.

Most clients describe the sensation as a 7-8 out of 10 on the intensity scale, with 0 being "I can’t feel anything" and 10 being "get this thing off me!" It’s intense enough to be effective but never so much that it’s uncomfortable.

IS IT NEW/SAFE?

Yes. Body Tempering has been around for nearly a decade and is rapidly gaining popularity. Originally developed in 2014 by Donnie Thompson—a world record-holding powerlifter and the first person to total 3,000 pounds in competition—it’s now a go-to recovery and mobility tool for strength athletes and sports professionals.

Thompson used Body Tempering throughout his career, and it undoubtedly contributed to his incredible success and longevity. Today, it’s used by college and professional sports teams, including those in the MLB and NFL, as well as by strength trainers and fitness enthusiasts worldwide.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING A SESSION?

After you text me to book, and make payment, I send you a link to an electronic waiver and questionnaire to confirm any specific goals so I understand exactly what you need. Whether we chat throughout or maintain a quiet atmosphere, I will regularly check in to make sure you’re comfortable and that I'm addressing the correct areas.

HOW LONG ARE THE SESSIONS AND WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM?

I offer a 30-minute session for a quick rollout that targets larger areas like the back or hamstrings, or even a fast full-body rollout. The 45-minute session focuses on 2–3 targeted areas, while the 60-minute session allows for a comprehensive full-body treatment or extra time on areas of high need.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. similar to the advice given before a deep tissue massage. Staying well-hydrated before and after your session can also help support muscle recovery and enhance your overall experience.
